Chief's Message:

Please allow me to welcome you to the Chicago Ridge Fire Department web site.  The Chicago Ridge Fire Department has a staff of nineteen full-time firefighters/paramedics and a paid on call staff of eighteen firefighters providing fire and rescue services to the village.  In addition to providing Fire-Rescue services we also operate with many highly trained special operation teams.  Hazardous Materials, Fire Investigations, Fire Prevention, Education, and Inspections and Code Compliance are just a few examples.

The men and women of this organization are highly trained, dedicated, and committed to providing service that can only be described as excellent.  They provide excellence in service through training, professionalism, efficiency, and dedication.

Our primary goal is the protection of persons and property wherever, whenever and however that goal has to be accomplished. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our web site and my distinct honor to serve with the personnel of the Chicago Ridge Fire Department.  Enjoy your visit.
